teRra “on the go” mini tin – 4 handmade watercolour paints – “you are my sunshine”

Description

This listing is for a set of 4 handmade watercolour paints in a ceramic paint palette inside a silver grey screw top aluminium tin.  Tiny round 4 size. The tin features a little clay logo on the top.  It comes in a cotton drawstring bag with the creative soul emblem.

THE PAINTS

Yellow and orange make any painting pop!  I love to add these warm vibrant colours to my artworks.  This set includes two bright bold colours and two muted earthy tones. It includes 2 super granulating paints so you can make the most gorgeous mixtures.

Nickel Azo Yellow is possibly my favourite pigment ever, now that is a big statement!  It is the most adorable vibrant yellow with such a personality as it dries, used with lots of water it is a super bright yellow, and with a thicker application it becomes all earthy and decadent.  It’s like several yellows all in one.
Add to this set the wonderfully bold Pyrrole Orange and 2 super granulating earthy browns and you can make so many more warm colours and mixtures.

The four paints included in this tin/palette are:

Nickel Axo Yellow – PY150
Pyrrole Orange – PO73
Cyprus Burnt Umber – PBr7 – granulating
Red Earth – PBr7 / PR101 – granulating

My handmade paints are hand-mulled on a glass slab in small batches, using the highest quality lightfast pigments, sourced from reputable professional art suppliers.  I only use the finest quality artist grade ingredients in my formulations, which comprises of the pigment, pure Gum Arabic and vegetable glycerine as the binder.

THE PALETTE & TIN

Each palette is created using off white clay and is fired in a kiln with a semi-gloss white glaze with brown speckles on top.  The speckles are random and will be uniquely different on each piece as they are individually made, so some variation can occur. Your item will be as close to the images shown that is possible with my handmade process.

Tiny round 4 size.
Each round “well” is approx.  1.5 ml in volume. Three quarters of the amount in a traditional rectangular plastic half pan (2 millilitres).

The set includes a hand painted swatch card that is laminated for protection, with all of the colours listed on the reverse side.
