Alchemy vintage glass and metal large size “ink” bottle – 120ml

Description

The Alchemy Collection is a range of glassware that is fused with metals to create one-of-a-kind unique vessels – they can be used to hold art ink and calligraphy or fountain pen inks. This bottle has a wide enough opening to dip a pen or brush into.

This bottle incorporates copper embellishments and is hand soldered with a (lead free) silver/tin alloy using the Tiffany soldering technique. It features a lovely repurposed crystal handle on the top of the lid and a filigree heart on the front. The bottle has a tiny hand stamped “ink” label on it.

Your item will come packaged in a small cotton gift bag with a pipette so you can fill it. The copper, brass and tin/ silver metal detailing is designed to weather, tarnish and age over time. Included with your piece is a polishing cloth.

This is a recycled VINTAGE USED glass bottle that has previously held ink.  It is only suitable for inks or liquids that are not consumed or used on the skin.  Although they are thoroughly cleaned and sterilised recycled bottles can contain blemishes or marks on either the glass or lid, or lid insert.  This is part of the charm of vintage items.
(**I use a range of different bottles to create my pieces, some are vintage and have previously held other inks or liquids and many are brand new.)
