The range of teRra handmade ceramic palettes and accessories are designed to work together …and look gorgeous on your art table! They all come in an off white matte finish stoneware clay with a white semi gloss glaze with brown speckles. The speckles are random, some items will have lots, some not so many, it is what makes each one unique.
Each piece is hand poured and formed using small moulds, and individually hand stamped and finished. The video further down shows the process.
My palettes come in this core range as well as tin sets of “on the go” travel palettes. This page details the core palette range.
This page includes all the items I am currently making in hee core range, along with 2 videos, one on how they are made (I know some of you love that information!), and a video where I briefly go through the pieces.
For the “core range” of palettes each of the small round paint wells in these sets holds 2ml of watercolour paint, the exact equivalent to a traditional plastic half pan.
How are they made?
It’s much more involved than you might think. Each piece goes though a number of stages and they take over a month to make each one.
