handmade ceramic story house “sleeve vase” with hare for wildflowers and tealights

When I pick wildflowers from my garden I always wish for a charming way to display them, often they are just one or a few long stems.  I designed these house vases for just that purpose!

Designed as a “sleeve” with no bottom, to fit a small glass of water inside, the flower stems sit happily tucked into the chimney and roof hatch.  Not only that, this house can alternatively be used to hold a tealight candle or an incense cone, truly multipurpose.

This house features imagery in sepia tones of a hare, bird, bee and hanging birdhouse, with a colourful retro design on the sides.  This house has a glazed pale aqua mottled roof and chimney

Each one is decorated with imagery and florals that are fired on in a kiln.  Your house will come with a complementary packet of incense cones.

***Please be aware if using a tealight candle your house will become hot when in use so place on a non combustible surface and handle with care!***

Each piece I make is a one off – the images in the listing are of the actual pottery item/s you will receive.

Made from fired stoneware clay with porcelain slip (fired to 1220c/2228f).

All glazes are non-toxic and food safe. Images are fired on in a kiln and fused onto the porcelain coated clay. Please hand wash for longevity.
