handmade ceramic owl plate / shallow bowl & spoon

Description

This is what I call a “blate” – it is half way between a bowl and a plate.  It’s basically a shallow sided flat based dish that can be used for many things.   Made from lovely off white stoneware clay, decorated with a gorgeous image of my own owl.  It is bare clay on the outside (matte finish) with a super glossy glaze inside the dish.

This plate comes with a rustic ceramic spoon.

Each piece is a one off – the images in the listing are of the actual pottery item/s you will receive.

Made from fired stoneware clay (to 1220c/2228f).

All glazes are non-toxic and food safe. It can go in the dishwasher but preferably it should be hand washed for longevity.

Designed and made in Australia.
