“treasure me” porcelain lidded jar with 22ct gold – botanical – love

Description

This is a handmade round lidded box / jar in fine white porcelain. It features 22 carat gold detailing on the flowers.  Botanical imagery in a rich red brown has been fired onto the jar.

The front features a handmade wire door in recycled copper, brass and silver solder. It opens on tiny handmade hinges. It has the word “love” stamped onto it.  The top/lid features a matching peephole window grill that does not open.

The metal work has been designed to tarnish and weather over time, however your piece comes with a polishing pad and cloth if you wish to shine up the copper and brass from time to time, just like you would an item of jewellery.  The gold will not tarnish as it is 22 carat.

The inside is glazed with a clear vintage style crackle glaze.

Each piece I make is a one off unique and original item – the images in the listing are of the actual ceramic item you will receive.

Made from fired fine white porcelain  (fired to 1220c/2228f).

All glazes are non-toxic and food safe. Solder is lead free. Images are fired on in a kiln and fused onto the porcelain. Please hand wash with warm soapy water if required.
