teRra “graphite duo” handmade ceramic palm palette with 2 watercolour paints

The teRra series – part of the “creative soul collection” which includes ceramic palettes, artist accessories and handmade watercolour paints.

This listing is for one organic shaped “palm palette”, designed to fit nicely in your hand, or flat on your art worktable.  The two round wells are filled with graphite watercolours – made from actual graphite pigment, the same as pencils are. Each well is the same volume as a quarter pan (1 millilitres). Your palette comes in a cotton drawstring bag with the creative soul emblem.

These 2 paints are wonderful to use on graphite drawings and sketches or anywhere you need a nice black or silver.  I use these colours all the time for shading.

The silver has a slight twinkly sheen just as graphite pencils do, and the black has no sheen and is a lovely deep matte black

My handmade paints are hand-mulled on a glass slab in small batches, using the highest quality lightfast pigments, sourced from reputable professional art suppliers.  I only use the finest quality artist grade ingredients in my formulations, which comprises of the pigment, pure Gum Arabic and vegetable glycerine as the binder.

My ceramic palettes are specifically designed for use with watercolour paints.  This item is created using a rich brown earthy clay with semi-gloss white glaze with brown speckles on top.  The speckles are random and will be uniquely different on each piece as they are individually made, so some variation can occur. Your item will be as close to the images shown that is possible with a handmade process.

Made from stoneware clay and fired twice in a kiln (to 1220c/2228f). All glazes are non-toxic and food safe. Please hand wash for longevity.
